We’ve Been Awarded the Music Mark of Recognition! 

We’re thrilled to share that our school has been awarded the Music Mark of Recognition for Dedication and Improvement by Music Mark, the UK’s subject association for music education.

This award celebrates our school’s commitment to providing high-quality music education and our ongoing efforts to improve and enrich the musical experiences of all our pupils. It recognises the hard work of our staff, the enthusiasm of our students, and the support of our wider school community.

Individual and group Music Tuition Lessons with WEMA

We are excited to announce that Ashcombe Primary School have teamed up with WEMA (West of England Music Association) and will be offering 1-1, paired and group music lessons to our students.

These lessons will be offered to KS2 pupils only and will take place throughout the week. The lessons will be during the school day in lesson time, by professional teachers from West of England Music & Arts (WEMA).

The instruments your child will be able to choose from are:

-Drum Kit

-Flute

-Guitar (Acoustic)

-Guitar (Bass)

-Guitar (Electric)

-Keyboard

-Ukulele
